grandmothers property. We did not arrive home until very late last night, making it for a very long day today. This kids looked very tired and bug bitten. The mosquitos were pretty bad yesterday and the kids were playing outside most of the day. They even dared to go swimming. Warm enough outside, but it was awfully cold in the water. They swam for about half an hour anyway. Boaters going by were getting a chuckle from the kids antics in the water and a few of them even asked how the water was. As is the kids blue faces and uncontrollable shivering was a good enough indication. Despite some controversy we did get to spend the weekend with the friendly side of the family though, the ones we are getting along with . We ate far too much but did manage to get a lot done around the river. As I have said so many times, the diet starts today.

The Long Weekend that wasn't
Well the weekend is over and it felt like a long one. It all started off innocently enough on Friday night. From there however it was a weekend of of a lotta lows. To start off with the family feud on my wifes side continues. That came to a mini head on Saturday morning, luckily before the business of selling off the lake property started. That part of the weekend went without too many hitches and somehow we ended up with a trailer and some old reminders of Sams
